ARIANA - How to display blog as in demo

Hi,
I see in the demo that the blog is displayed in a non-standard format.
In order to figure out how this is done I also installed the demo in a separate folder.
In my real site I have configured all parameters for articles and categories as in demo, but cannot manage to make my blog to look as in demo. I have also set menu parameters as in demo (Category Blog - Alternative), but still get blog layout as Joomla standard layout.

How did you manage to display de blog as in demo?

Hi Juan

In Joomla, it is all about how you link to an item. To create a menu item to your blog using the alternative layout...

1. Navigate to Menus -> [YourMenu] -> New
2. In the Menu Item Type field select Articles -> Category Blog Alternative
3. Set remaining settings as desired and save
