To amend you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

#body_bg {

    background-position-y: 0 !important;

    background-size: cover !important;

}

This should resolve the blurred issue. If you would still like to swap the image let me know and I will provide the needed CSS. Please include a URL to the image you wish to use.

Unfortunately it didn't do the trick.

I can see changes when I check it on a big screen and even in the responsive design modus in FF it looks well.

But on my Android devices the background is blurred (even after refreshing / emptying the cache).

I attached the background that I want to use.

This appears to be the background image currently set?

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine why your background image is been stretched. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
