Hello,

Would it be (or become) possible to add alt-text to the images ?

In the FF-webinspector I can see:

<img src="/xxxxxx/images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp#joomlaImage://local-images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp?width=200&height=300" alt="images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp#joomlaImage://local-images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp?width=200&height=300">

After "alt" appears the same url to the image, which of course is not fully WCAG compliant.

Thanks
Luk

Hi Luk

Could I ask you to try the attached update which adds an alt text field to to set for each image.

Hi CiarĂ¡n,

Thank you.

I have entered some text in the new alt-text field of 2 images, but unfortunately the FF-inspector shows still the same:

<img src="/xxxxxx/images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp#joomlaImage://local-images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp?width=200&height=300" alt="images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp#joomlaImage://local-images/bestuur/2402_Placeholder_200x300.webp?width=200&height=300">

Hi Luk

Do you have any overrides created for the ImageHover modules? If so, try renaming the override folder to mod_imagehover-bak and see if the issue is resolve.

If this does not resolve the issue, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
