Alexis template - scale images in showcase area

I'm working with the Alexis template. I have set up my other pages to have a banner across the top of the page in the showcase position. However when the site is being viewed and the browser viewer is zooming out (viewing at 67% for example) the photo does not scale the same way the slideshow on the home page scales. I would like the banner images to scale in the same fashion. How can I do that?

Hello

Have you tried using the slideshow module for this menu item with just a single image?
