Adding module positions

Hi was wondering if anyone can help me. Is it possible to add module positions to these templates? I have purchased the catalyst template and I'm happy with it so far. Just need to know if it's possible to add module positions to the side columns....I want to put one underneath 'sidecol-a'. I've tried editing the 'templatedetails.xml', but to no avail...

Can anyone help!?

Hi jermainenw

Multiple modules in either of the sidecol module positions will tile vertically so you should not have a reason to create a new module position. Any second module placed in either of these positions will automatically appear below the first module in the same position.
