Adding a background image

Hi,

I'm using j51 Metropolis. The insert image fields aren't working to change the template parameters. I managed to find and replace the logo file with my logo, but I don't know how to add in a background image. Can you help please?

Hi Helen

A possible issue is how you are naming your background and logo images. Ensure not to use any spaces or special characters in your image file names?

Hi Ciaran,

Thanks I've checked this and the filenames are just logo.png and head.png I can upload them but when I press 'insert' then nothing happens so I think I need some help to add them manually.

I appear to have been able to add both images without any issue. From you Joomla administration I naviagated to Extensions -> Template Manager -> J51 - Metropolis - Default, hit 'select' on the image fields, selected your image, hit insert and then saved.

Thank you!

I think it's an IE9 issue as I can't change it in that browser, but i can do it in firefox.

Is it possible to move the top menu or is this a fixed part of the design?
