It can be common for a template user to feel unsatisfied when they first hit refresh after installing and enabling their template to a new Joomla installation due to the lack of site content. In Joomla the template styles your site content however does not contain any content in itself.

To over come this you can use the 'Demo Installer' included with most of our templates. A Demo Installer' is basically a fully functional Joomla! package containing the CMS itself, your template and accompanying modules, the template demo images, all the configurations and site content that we used on the demo. Simply put, once you have installed the 'Demo Installer' your Joomla installation will appear exactly like the template demo.

There is a number of circumstances where we would recommend using the 'Demo Installer' as oppose to simply installing the template to a blank Joomla installation. In particular if you are a novice user of Joomla, the 'Demo Installer' will give you the ideal platform to better understand how Joomla and your template handles your content. The 'Demo Installer' is also great if your vision for your project is very similar to that of the template demo, allowing you to simply replace the demo content rather than building your project from the ground up.

Installing the 'Demo Installer' is exactly the same as installing the standard Joomla! Ensure to select 'Default English (GB) Sample Data' under 'Install Sample Data' on the 3rd step of your Joomla installation to import the demo content for your template.
