Hej hej,
I attached some screenshots to show the difference in your demo of 'Jasmine' and on my installation.
At the moment my installation is local, but if necessary I can upload it later.
My own slideshow configuration is a little bit smaller in height, nothing else changed (i think).
I know, my 2560p screens are bigger than average, but the 100% width is still there and would be ok, if I can align the image with the image center, instead of the top.
Description:
On jasmine_screenshot_s.png you see the small version with full height of the image. For reference I marked three sections (sky, gras, beach) to compare in the other images.
jasmine_screenshot_m.png shows more width and the image get's cut off a little bit at the bottom. On the right side is gras missing.
jasmine_screenshot_l.png shows the ultra width version, where the whole bottom beach is cut off... I know, a little bit extreme... but I don't want a bottom-only cut off and this shows it clearly what I mean.
So, if you want to test a possible solution, your own demo is useable
My own images are similiar, just a little bit more clear...
In own_screenshot_s.png you see the whole height. My red line shows the margin between horizon and bottom of the picture to compare. This is on small screen.
On medium screens like in own_screenshot_m.png, there's a cut off. The clouds on the top are untouched, but I miss landscape.
On large screen like in own_screenshot_l.png, theres nothing left of the landscape, just clouds and the sun is at the bottom.

I don't want "no cut".
All I want is to align the image vertically centered, so the clouds and the landscape get cut off
equally. Because I want the focus point of the image in the center to remain in center. But at the moment it cuts off the bottom only. I hope this is understandable.
At the moment I would like a solution for "all images align vertically centered" - but just as a suggestion for a future module update, it could be a per image setting?
