is it possible to change the background color (dark green) with a image? See attached screenshot and URL: http://s876558602.online.de/ .

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

(edit image URL to taste)

.body_bg::after {

    background-image: url('http://s876558602.online.de/images/headers/start-01.jpg');

    background-size: cover;

    height: 400px;

    width: 400px;

    border: none;

}
