Hi Michel

Installing your template is the same as installing any Joomla template. For details on this topic may I suggest the following articles..

https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Installing_a_template
https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/joomla-basics/how-to-install-your-joomla-template

For details on installing a copy of the template demo including the template, modules and sample content check out the following article.. https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/demo-installer/setting-up-the-demo-installer

With installing the demo content I often had trouble. After uploading all files and starting the Joomla installation, joomla could not connect to the database. I found out, that there was a .txt file within the main file directory of the uploaded files which just needs to be deleted. After deletion the installation process was no problem anymore. Ciaran, maybe this should be fixed within your demo files?!

Hi Robert

Does the same text file exist if you extract the demo locally? I suspect this file is added by your server upon extraction?

Hello,
I want to integrate the logo (.svg file) of my host. Do you have a tutorial on how to install this type of logo?

Best regards

Hi Michel

By default, Joomla does not allow you to upload SVG format. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and add your logo manually. Please include a URL to your SVG. Your template will source this URL for your logo image. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello,
Here is the svg file that represents the logo of my PlanetHoster host.
I send you the following link (url): '' https://www.planethoster.com/goph-michel-six ''
Embed this logo in the middle of footer 1 or 2.

the Joomla link for my site is: '' https://monsudouestfrance.com/joomla30/administrator/index.php ''
Thanks in advance,
cordially, Michel

Hello

Your post does not appear to include a URL to an SVG. It is best that the SVG is stored on the same server as your website.

Hello,
I just got the imag of the logo and the link, it works, but there is still a white planethoster to eliminate, otherwise it's okay.
The time to find the solution in svg … ^^

Good reception,
cordially, Michel

Bonjour,
Je me suis contenté d’intégrer l’image du logo et le lien, ça fonctionne, mais il reste ‘planethoster en couleur blanc à éliminer’, sinon c’est ok.
Le temps de trouver la solution en svg … ^^

Bonne réception
Cordialement, Michel

Hello,
I have a problem with header that I have mistaken to put a side menu (which I have disabled right now).
It is still displayed in Header 2.
How can I solve this?
Regularly, 6michel

PS: for the hosting logo, I manage with an imaging logo and link, it's ok !

Nota: If you want my password and identifiers, I'll not pass it on to you outside the forum. Tell me?

Hi, Ciaran

Another question: can we add a code that will accept svg/xml files?
Because I managed to put the svg file in media/images/…on the other hand, I can’t insert it.
Thank you for your return,
Regards, Michel

Hi 6michel

1 .Would you have a URL to an example of your menu in the header-2 position?

2. Unfortunately, for security reasons, Joomla does not allow the selection of SVGs. Your only option is to edit your templates layout/logo.php file (../templates/YourTemplate/inc/layouts/logo.php) and add your SVG image manually.
