Hi Ciaran,

As you might know, I use Skylar_J4 on several sites under J5.1 and PHP 8.3. On one of those sites, I have installed the included J51_LayerSlideshow_Lite (V1.0.0) at module position 'top-1a', on another one in position 'showcase-1a'. Both slideshows show relatively large images:

Today I realized some kind of flickering effect, which I hadn't seen before: As long as I stay on one page of the website, everything is fine. But when I click on a menu item, all images of the slideshow seem to be visible for a very short moment. I've seen this effect both with Mozilla Firefox and with Microsoft Edge. The browser console doesn't show any errors.

To make the effect visible, I have taken a short video in slow motion, which you can download here.
At second 0:34 of the video, the effect is clearly visible:

Can you check, pls?

Regards
Rolf

Hi Rolf

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.layerslideshowlite.layerslideshowlite126 {
max-height: 365px;
}

Hi Ciaran

That looks good! I will test on a second site tomorrow; I understand that I have to adjust the max-height to the height of the slides.

I'll come back to you.

Thx and regards
Rolf

Hi Ciaran,

I can confirm that your CSS works fine on my second website as well (after adjustments for class and max-height).
