replacing Search area on Specialize

Hello,

On Specialize I'd like to "simply" replace the Search area/module with a registration module that I'll find on the net.
I tried by disabling Search on the template and then assigning (as a test) a new Custom HTML module to the position-0 (which I think is the one used by the template Search ?) but nothing appears anymore there ...

Is there a trick ?

For this template the search field is not a module position. To convert this area to a module position may I suggest the following post.. http://www.joomla51.com/forum/support/commercial-templates/j51-rendezvous-custom-module-in-hornav-or-sear#498

Ensure the search option remains enabled in your templates parameters.
