Properly sized images for Layer Slideshow Module

In google lighthouse they flag my sites when using the J51 Layer Slideshow for not having the proper image sizes on mobile.
The proper sized images would be smaller BUT I don't know how to make that happen in this case since the images are not in the CSS they are in the slideshow.

Hello

Currently, Joomla does not support the srcset attribute on images which is what would be required to serve alternative images on smaller screens. Would option is to increase the compression of your images. Alternatively you can try one of the Joomla srcset plugins (eg. https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/xt-adaptive-images/).
