I'm sorry to bother but how what do I place in the custom css of the template if I want to move the menu up. I managed to move the logo position but all my attempts at moving the menu have failed. I would really appreciate your help.

Hi Louw

Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

#container_header {
height: 81px;
}

You will also need to edit the following in your templates scripts.php (../templates/j51_lifestyle/php/scripts.php)..

jQuery(window).load(function(){
jQuery("#container_hornav").sticky({ topSpacing: 122 });
});

Change to...

jQuery(window).load(function(){
jQuery("#container_hornav").sticky({ topSpacing: 81 });
});

One more question regarding the top menu.

I would like the postion of the menu on the homepage of lifestyle template to be slightly higher when you open the page. I can change this with the Header Vertical Spacing in the template settings(to 190px) but that also brings the content into view that should only appear when someone scrolls. I tried to change this myself by modify the class="container_spacer2" style="min-height: 20px;" in the index.php file but that also changed for the other pages.

What can I place in the custom code section so that the content is below the fold when the home page opens but does not effect the style of the other pages?

I would really appreciate your help

Hello

To set an alternative height to the space below your templates logo/menu to can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters editing to your own taste..

.container_spacer2 {
height: 220px;
}

Thanks for code. That does decrease the space above menu and header but it also brings the content above the fold when one first opens the home page. I would like the content to stay out of site till someone scrolls.

On other words I would decrease the space above the menu but keep the content out of site for the home page.

I'm sorry if this sounds a little confusing but I really do appreciate your advice.

Not sure if I understand you correctly. What height would you like above the logo and what height below?

I'm sorry for not making it clearer. I've inserted your code in my custom css field and that moves the menu up but it also brings the article and module content into view when one first opens the home page. See attached image. I don't wont people to see the bottom content until they scroll so I would like that to move down so that it is not visible in the beginning. I believe it may be the .content_background_container but I'm not sure

Hello

The following CSS allows you to edit the distance between your logo and the beginning of your content (Constructions Project etc.). Edit this CSS to your own taste..

.container_spacer2 {
height: 320px;
}
