Hello
I have a beautiful PianoForte design and have some issues with this template. Maybe you can help me!
1. I can't find a way to change sidecol background color. Right now it is white but i've changed main background to light grey in template manager (edit style) and want sidecol module have the same. How do I do that?
2. This is a responsive design and right now if I look to my site in mobile phone, the header is not responsive (everything else is).
3. I want to add an extension to create a custom form for spareparts request (15 cells) and downloaded chronoforms but it seems to not work with this template. The form is not shown on site. Is there any other freeware form creating extension that works well and you can suggest?
4. I wanted to add a sidecol with banners in it (partners list) and made a module but again there were many errors and sidecol wasnt shown on site. So I made a single article and linked it to sidecol. Now I have to add every banner to article and link it with partners sites. Is that the only way to do that? Is it a good idea?
5. Right now the template has quite wide footer area. Is there a way to make a footer area narrower?
6. How to add a page statistic link to footer area (small box to the corner)?

Thank you very much and sorry for so many questions I asked.

I figured everything out and most of the problems are solved.
The thing I only had right now is with form. In iOS and Firefox a form looks like it should but in IE fields are not on one line with labels.
I have to do some research in this field.

Hello

3. Would you have a URL to a live example of this issue?

6. May I suggest setting us up with temporary administration access to your Joomla installation and we will set up your module for you. Access details can be sent to info@joomla51.com. Please paste a link to this post in your email for our reference.

7.In your templates header.php (../templates/j51_pianoforte/php/layouts/header.php) try replacing the following on line 33.....

<li class="social-skype"><a href="/<?php echo $this->params->get('social_facebook'); ?>" target="_blank" title="Skype">Skype</a></li>

With....

<li class="social-skype"><a href="/<?php echo $this->params->get('social_skype'); ?>" target="_blank" title="Skype">Skype</a></li>

Hey
Thank you for the rseponse.
Problem no 1 - solved.
No 2 - I decided to give up of responsive design and now on mobile phone there is a full site and it's better to look at.
3. I couldn't get Chronoforms to work so I installed the other program called Fabrik and now I have an issue with text are inside an element. Piano Forte template makes a box around this element and I don't know in what file it overwrites this Fabrik 's code. For better understanding you can see http://static2.fotoalbum.ee/fotoalbum/420/143/010507196198987.jpg">a pic here!
4. Instead of Banners module I now use Custom HTML module and now it's working.
Problem no 5 - solved.
6. Can't get it done! I added a new article with the name Footer Stats and when I tried to add a new module (Custom HTML for example) I can't bond it with Footer Stats article. I think I do it wrong way.. :(
7. New problem occurred - I use two social media icons in front page (FB and Skype) and added two different URLs into template manager but both icons lead me to FB page. In what file I can check these icons referred addresses?
Best wishes!

Hi

1. To edit the background color of your side columns try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters where #DDDDDD is your new background color..

#sidecol_a, #sidecol_b {
background: #DDDDDD;
}

2. Could you details for me in what way your header is not responsive? Would you have a URL to an example?

3. Are you having the same issue with Joomlas default template? If not may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

4. Could you details for me the errors you are getting? What type of module are you using to display your banners?

5.The footer/base area of your template should have the same width set as the rest of your template as set in the templates parameters. To give this area an alternative width try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters where 900px is your new area width...

#container_base .wrapper960 {
width: 900px;
}

6. Have you tried using one of the base module positions (base-2b)?
