Hi Ciaran

I am not sure if this issue has to do with J51_Ensley. But I can find this very strange behaviour on one of my websites only. This website uses J51_Ensley 1.1.4.

- Log-in to the Back-End
- Make sure that nobody is logged-in to the Front-End checking the module «Recently logged-in users» in the dashboard
- Open the Front-End in a new browser tab
- There is a button «Edit» for each article. The articles can be opened and edited. Although I am logged-in to the Back-End only.
- Log-out from the Back-End
- Refresh the Front-End
- The «Edit» buttons are gone

None of my other websites shows this disturbing behaviour.

Thank you and kind regards
Chris

Hi Chris

THat does sound rather strange. Just to confirm that this is a template related issue, could you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (Cassiopeia) and see if the issue still exists.

Thank you Ciaran. I could have come up with that idea myself.... The result is: same phenomenon with Protostar. There must be some other reason for this weird behaviour. I must try to find out...

Sorry for having bothered you.
Kind regards
Chris
