Hello
I want to extract the testimonials (Joomla3 version) to import them into a Joomla 4 version. For this I need to know in which table they are stored.

thank you for the answer

Hi JM

Yes, you are absolutely correct, the #__extensions table only contains the default data. The #__module table is where the saved data is kept.

Thank you for the correction :)

Hi Ciaran,

Thank for the reply, in fact I found testimonials data not in #_extensions but in #_module, I can extract these data but i hope that is the same structure that in Joomla 4, What dou you think about this ?

Hi Jean-Marie

Thank you for the update. Presuming I understand you correctly, I believe you will find what you are looking for in the #__extensions table of your Joomla database. This is where your module settings data is stored.

Thanks Claran,

But I asked the wrong question because I need to transfer testimonials from a website in J3 to another website in J4.
I can write a process to do this if I know where data are stored.

Have a nice day

Hello

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. To transfer from Joomla 3 to 4 with regards to the testimonials module, you should simply need to update your module to the Joomla 4 version.

In some cases, you may need to open the module settings and save again.
