Hi Ciaran,

for security reasons, I would like to deactivate JQMIGRATE version 1.4.1 of for the J51_novah template. How can I turn this off and does it affect the template?

Many greetings
Michael from Germnay

Hi Micheal

Sure. In your templates index.php (../templates/j51_novah/index.php) locate the following (approx. line 57)...

<?php include ("inc/head.php");?>

Directly after this line, paste the following....

<?php
$doc = JFactory::getDocument();
unset($doc->_scripts[JURI::root(true) . '/media/jui/js/jquery-migrate.min.js']);
unset($doc->_scripts[JURI::root(true) . '/media/jui/js/jquery-migrate.js']);
?>

Unsetting should only cause an issue if you are using extensions that are running on a particularly old version of jQuery. Any recently updated extension should be fine.
