I migrated a site from J 1.5 to j 2.5.19. Menus work fine in joomla default templates, e.g. Beez20. However switching to Cashmere, selecting 'convert to module position (hornav)' switch to ON and changing all menu module positions to 'hornav' results in no drop down menus, just all 58 menu items displayed across the page. Can be seen here: http://www.radioindies.org/new2/ . Similar in Safari and Chrome

I'm obviously missing something, maybe several things, in setting up menus for Cashmere, but can't find any relevant info in the Tutorials or the Forum. Can you assist please? Happy to send admin info

Thank you Mike

We cleared the 'Link Image' field within the settings for this menu item and it is now appearing correctly. It appears an image was set for this menu item which does not exist.

Hi Mike

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine these issues further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thanks for prompt reply Ciaran, all working now.

Two small issues still:
there's a white question mark on a blue square immediately above the words 'main menu'. I don't know what it means

There seems to be an additional menu system - the word 'menu' faintly in the top left hand corner, and clicking on it brings up the parent items etc. Is there a reason for it or have I missed another item to configure?

Hi Mike

You don't appear to have any sub menu items (child items) set up in your menus. Also you appear to have 4 different menus displaying rather than placing all your menu items in a single menu which will need to be the case if you wish to display all these menu items in this area of your template.

For details on creating sub menu items may I suggest the following tutorial... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/adding-a-sub-menu-child-item-to-a-menu
