Thank you, this is working now. However the top wrapper is still taking up space on mobile devices because there is a height set:

.header_top .wrapper960 {
display: flex;
flex: 1 0 auto;
padding: 4px 0;
transition: all 180ms ease;
height: 42px;
}

Can this be corrected as well?

To hide the top panel completely on small screen devices, add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

@media only screen and (max-width: 767x) {

.header_top {

    display: none;

}}
