Hayley - Image Over Gallery Style Settings are ignored

I wanted to change my style settings for my image over modules. But neither the changes made in the style tab nor the style overrides of the image tab have any effect.

Hover Effect - works
Hover Background Color - doesn't work
Title Color - doesn't work
Caption Color - doesn't work

My current workaround is using the css class module "text-dark"

no. It's also a https:// website, and there are no redirections, so this doesn't make any sense.
