Florence - adding image behind header row

Hi,
I tried adding an image behind the header row with this code:

#logo, .slicknav_nav {
background: none;
}

But when I do, the image appears but the page refreshes 3 times when loaded.

The page template is set to NO for Header Full Screen but there is an image loaded in the option, which shows through when I put in the above code into the custom css.

Is there a way to show this image behind the header without the refresh?
