Hi Ciarán,

I have a number of images to display, but each image has several lines of text associated to it. I would like to use the Flex grid for this, but some images require more 'text space' than the grid currently allows.

The grid currently assigns the bottom 1/2 of the image for the 'image caption text'. Can you please tell me if it's possible to:
- decrease the font size just for this component.
- allow the image caption text to cover all the image, or repositioning the image caption text at the top of the image (rather than 1/2 way down)

These two changes would allow me to fit more text on the image.

Many thanks for your help,
Marc

Actually this is now resolved. I saw no difference between Flex Gallery installations due to server caching.

So using the Chelsea Gallery gave me top aligned text and I worked out how to reduce the font size.

Just to add some more information - I'm using the flex grid component within the older LetterPress template.

I saw the Flex Grid styles are different for the Chelsea vs. Serenity templates. Originally I installed the flex grid component as bundled with the Serenity template - but as described, the space available to add the 'image caption text' is too small for my needs. I then noticed the Flex Grid styling bundled with the Chelsea template is more what I'm looking for - the 'image caption text' is aligned to the top of the image window.

So I uninstalled the FlexGrid from Serenity and installed the FlexGrid component from the Chelsea template .... only to find the flex grid looked the same as before ?

I assumed the different stylings for the Flex Grid were part of the FlexGrid component - issued specifically for that template.

So I'm not sure if the uninstall of the Serenity Flex Grid "left behind" it's styling, or if the styling of the Flex Grid comes from the template itself?

Could you please give me guidance?

Many thanks
Marc

Hi Ciarán,

I've attached an example screen shot. Would it be possible to change the text size and align the text to cover all the image space, rather than just the lower half?

Many thanks

Hi Marc

Would you have a URL to an example of your FlexGallery module with your text applied?
