I have had the request from a client to add the logo about the slide show instead of to the left side of the slide show.

Is there a way I can double to size of the area above the slide show in order to place their logo?

I have attempted to enlarge the top background but when I do that I don't know how to adjust the CSS to accommodate the change.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

If you wish to extend the height of this area you can try adding the following to the end of your templates template.css (../templates/j51_motion/css/template.css)..
.showcase {margin-top: 111px !important;}
111px is the current gap above the slideshow so for example to increase this area by 50px change the above to..
.showcase {margin-top: 161px !important;}
You will find you will have to edit the background image to match the CSS.

Thanks for your reply.

I was able to expand that area by cropping the very top of the top_bg.png and then pasting it back to add 54 px to the top. I then adjusted the CSS for the showcase and slideshow the same 54 px to bring it back even. I had to do a little cloning with Gimp to hide the line that occurred in the top center.

If you want to see the website, go to following link: http://174.120.152.125/~moe .

I also know if the client wants to go a little wider at the top that I can copy and paste another small section to the top and adjust the CSS.

My client did not want the logo on the left side as set as part of the template.

Thanks again for your assistance!

PS: In order to add the logo and text I actually added that to the top_bg.png file except for the left wheel logo where I used the logo.png file.

Hi smithjd44

Would you have a URL to an example of the enlarged background. We may be able to give you the needed CSS to accommodate the changes.
