Hello

Whenever I download a template with Firefox, the download gets blocked after a while by my Firewall/Antivirus software (Kaspersky).
If I turn off Firewall/Antivirus software and use Google Chrome, the Browser still blocks the download. I get the message, that the download could contain malware.

Any idea what the problem is?

Thanks!

Regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick

May I ask which template are you trying to download?

Hello

That is very strange. It is the first time this issue was reported. We are unable to replicate the issue locally and checking Joomla51 with Google gives us the all clear.. https://www.google.com/transparencyreport/safebrowsing/diagnostic/index.html#url=www.joomla51.com

We can assure you that no malicious software is included with your download.

If you are unable to reach your download please drop us an email to info@joomla51.com and I will find an alternative download solution for you.

Hi Ciarán

Yes indeed, it is very strange.
I'm very sure, your template packages are clean :-)

I can bypass the problem by telling Chrome still to download the ZIP file, even if there might be a problem.

If I check the downloaded ZIP-file with Kaspersky, I get no warning at all. Only while downloading. But I most likely think it's not really Kaspersky that blocks the download, but it's Firefox and Chrome who believe to detect a problem. Maybe it has to do with the language. I use the browsers in their German version.

Anyway, I can download the packages and if other of your users don’t have this problem, it’s not worth to do further investigation.

Thanks a lot for your support!

EDIT: If I use Safari browser on Windows, there is no problem downloading :-)

Best regards
Patrick
