Hey there,

does anyone know how I can disable the space/header above the slideshow?

Kindly,

My white bar appeared because I was commenting out my google-tag-manager script lines (/* ... */). After I changed my index.php again and deleted the comment-out-tags the white bar disappeared. Now it is fine. Maybe someone did the same "mistake".

Do you have the exact same message or a different one?
I'm not sure anymore, but I think the message went away with the next Joomla update. Do you have the latest version of Joomla?
And did you turn off error reporting in the global configuration? Check my screenshot. Maybe also in the settings of your provider.

Kindly,
Chris

Is there another solution than switching php-version?

Hey Ciaran,

I switched back to php 8.0 and the space was gone..

I think the problem is the following error message I get when I upgrade to PHP 8.1 because this message appears in the header when I refresh the website.

Deprecated: md5(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in libraries/src/Document/Document.php on line 634

So either I fix this message or I switch back to PHP 8.0 and wait for the next update of joomla which might fix the error message.

Anyway, thanks for your help!

Kindly,
Chris
