Hi

I am trying to implement a custom.css file in Layla. It is not being loaded. This is quite an issue and I would really appreciate a prompt answer?

I also have another query posted 4 days ago and that remains unanswered.

https://joomla51.com/forum/uncaught-referenceerror-jarallax-is-not-defined

Please reply to both posts a.s.a.p!!!

Thanks

David

Thank you David

I notice that batches of your CSS are been combined in to single files. Would you know which of your plugins are combining these files?

Hi Ciaran

this is done via the hosting account. I have switched off the CSS Optimisation so all files should now be visible.

Thanks

Hi Ciaran

I have now resolved this after looking at this thread https://joomla51.com/forum/j4-emani-no-custom-css#reply-41804

Probably worth updating your info in the Tutorials ;)

Thanks

Ah yes. I had actually forgotten about this issue. I have just created an update for the Layla template which will update this table on installation. Thank you for the update and the reminder :)

Hi Ciaran

this was related to putting custom.css into the ./media/site/[YourTemplate/css folder.

Thanks

@Ciaran, was working on a friends website and tried the upgrade for Layla j4.
The issue isn't quite as simple as stated above.
The real issue is the custom.css needs to be in the media as stated by @davec62
but doesn't live there. The worst part is that when you move it to the correct location you can no longer edit it or any other /media/templates/site/J51_Layla file because its not shown.
Nina doesn't have this issue, Layla does.

You can verify this by examining the <head> and you'll see the custom.css is never loaded unless its moved.

Hi N6REJ

Updating your template to the latest download should resolve this issue for you.

If the issue persists after updating, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
