My client now wants: "a really clean simple look. For instance I do not want any color or graphics except maybe black and grey but the bkgrd I would like white. "
I tried adding this CSS to the custom and template.css files:

background: none !important;
background-color: #fff !important;
}
but it didn't take. Can you direct me? Or can you point me to a template for Joomla 2.5 that will satisfy her?
