Hi,

I'm using the Nadia template and I've added a Contact form. Problem is there's a "Contact" and "Contract Form" header text on the form, which I don't really want (I've set the display format to 'plain').

fyi. I'm using the standard Joomla contact component.

I've noticed the Chelsea template has a contact form, and those heading text have been removed - leaving just the contact form fields. Could you please advise how this has been done, so I can apply to my Nadia project?

Many thanks
Marc

Hello

Possibly the easiest solution would be to simply place a number br tags before your image which will move it down the page...

<br><br><br><br><br><img src="/">

You can then hide the br tags on touch devices with the following which can be added to the custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.touch .sidecol_block br {display:none;}

Hi Ciarán -

I am still battling with the default Joomla Contact component, trying to make it look acceptable.

With your help, the headings have been removed and I've adjusted the "send email" text to make it more professional.

Final touch would be to reduce the width of the contact "content" area by placing an image next to it using a custom module containing an image at position "sidecol-b". I've attached an image to illustrate.

Problem; I would like the image to be centred vertically, so it's opposite the contact fields. How can do I vertically centre the image module within "sidecol-b"

Many thanks for your help,
Marc

Hi Marc

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.contact > h3 {
display: none;
}

Hi Ciarán,

Site is not online, but I've attached two images. One of Nadia and the contact form I added using the standard Joomla contact component, and the second of your contact form from the Chelsea demo.

My project has the default "Contact" and "Contact Form" headers, and I was wondering how these were removed from the Chelsea example.

Many thanks

Hi Marc

Would you have a URL to an example of your contact form?
