I'm working on a J2.5 site using Letterpress. One of my articles uses a table and I cannot get all the table attributes to work. I want the table centered in the article and I have found on other sites that you have to put <center> before the table and </center> afterwards. This isn't working on this site - the table displays in the left position.

This table is coded as
<table style="border-color: #495319; border-width: 2px; border-style: solid;" border="2" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="10">

The desired border-width and cellpadding show in the editor on the admin side but display on the front end as border-width="1" and callpadding="0" - making for a very cramped little table. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of your current table so we can better understand these styling issues?

I took care of the border width by coding every cell in the html editor so my only issue now is the cell padding. It's set as cellpadding="10" but does not display as 10.

Thank you.

Thank you

Could you try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

td {
padding: 10px;
}

You can include other styling in this way for example...

td {
padding: 10px;
border: 1px solid #185704;
}

That did the trick. Thank you so much, Ciarán.
