I notice a bit of our issue with our code here so thank you for bringing it to our attention.

To amend replace the following in your templates index.php (../templates/j51_choice/index.php - LINE 131)

<li class="nav_digg"><a href="/<?php echo $this->params->get('nav_google'); ?>" title="Google"></a></li>

Replace with...

<li class="nav_google"><a href="/<?php echo $this->params->get('nav_google'); ?>" title="Google"></a></li>

I checked the index.php and the code was correct with what you asked me to replace it with.

I am pretty sure it is working, but I just need to know what I need to type in the Social Media Icons area in the template admin. Google icon text area in the Template admin area to get the Google button working correctly.

Hi Mark

The template icons are design to simply link to your social media page. When you say working correctly I'm presuming you mean the +1 Google element.. code for this can be obtained from the Google site (http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/) and are best placed using Joomlas default 'Custom HTML' module.
