I have a website located under domain name greenecountydesigns.com. I would like to transfer all of the site to a new domain name called 417motorsports.net. Can I just copy the entire directory of greenecountydesigns and put it under the 417motorsports domain? They are both hosted by the same host and both are addon domains. Would I then just copy the database from greenecountydesigns and put it under 417motorsports? I am trying to prevent having to install a new copy of Joomla to 417MS and then recreating the entire site.

Hi Steven

Transferring your Joomla installation is relatively easy however you will need access to your database (MyPHPAdmin) to export/import the Joomla database. May I suggest the following article which details the whole process.. http://docs.joomla.org/Copying_a_Joomla_website
