Autson slideshow showing in a latest news module

Hi - Using the Elevation template with Joomla 3 on my local machine (running latest version of wamp)

I have configured my site to only show the autson slideshow on my homepage. This works well and does not show on any of the subsequent 'child' pages. However on my Latest News module (shows on all pages) when I click a link to any of the articles listed the slideshow shows up. Is there anyway to prevent this?

By default Joomla will assign the same modules to the fly page of your Latest News module as that of the pages where the item was selected. May I suggest the following Joomla extension which will give you more control over module assignment.. http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/style-a-design/modules-management/10307
