Hi.

I am using your PianoForte template for this site (http://faroexpo.konsult.fo/), where I have a the top main menu with sup-menus as the dropdown.

Would like to ask if it's possible to have an arrow icon pointing down to the right of each Menu that has a dropdown?
See attached Screenshot example.
This so, that it will be easier for users to see that there is a dropdown from those menus.

Tried to just add a "Link Image" to the menu "Partenariat" from it's menu parameters, but it does by default display above the menu. Haven't really figured out the CSS how to have it be right of the menu title. The menu width should best also increase a little with this arrow.
But by through this method you will also have to manually add a link image, everytime you add a menu with a dropdown.

A better alternative would be - if possible - to add a function to the template, so that 'IF' a Menu has sup-menus (dropdown) a arrow icon will display to the right of the menu title automatically.

Hello Ciarán

Has the template been updated with dropdown icons for parent items for the PianoForte template?

Hello

We will look in to adding a dropdown icon to parent items for this template over the next couple of days. You can then simply install the template again via your Extension Manager to update the template.

By the way just a question about automatic dropdown icon.

You say that you do not have an option to automatically add the dropdown icon for this template I suppose.

Is it possible for me to ask if you can 'create' such an option for the PianoForte template or will that be a too complicated task to ask for, since the template is created without a dropdown icon? :)

Noticed that the J51-Polaris template has this, so if I give you administrator access to my site, you could then (hopefully) modify the PianoForte hornav to have a dropdown icon like the Polaris template, by creating or implementing it?

Don't know if you can offer such support? Would be awesome though.

Hello

To amend your issue could you try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.mainParentBtn {
padding-right: 25px !important;
}

It is definitely something we will consider adding to our templates :). It was there on our early templates but somehow was removed of recent.

Hi, this does indeed float it to the left. But I wanted it to be floated to right, Which I could achieve with this CSS:

#hornav img {
float: right;
margin-right: -15px;
margin-top: 10px;
}

But the menu "box-width" needs to extend a little and have same padding as to the left.
If you look at my page now and the Menu "Partenariat", where I've put in the custom CSS, you will see that the dropdown icon almost falls out of the Menu selected box.

Okay, that would have been a nice function to have for your templates. Maybe you could consider adding this feature to your future templates? :)

Hello

To float your menu item image to the left could you try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#hornav img {
float: left;
margin-right: 5px;
margin-top: 10px;
}

Sorry to say at present we do not have an option to automatically add the dropdown icon.
