Firstly my apologies for the delay in replying to your query. We have spent the last few days at a Joomla 4 code sprint and fell a little behind in our support.

Presuming I understand you correctly you will first need to create a new template style for your homepage (http://joomla51.com/tutorials/item/creating-multiple-template-styles).

You can then hide the main menu area by adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your template homepage styles parameters...

#container_hornav-sticky-wrapper,

#container_hornav {

    display: none;

}
